If you are interested in getting together with others, please list your name and what kind of activities you would like to do (eg. theatre, classical music, jazz, dance, pop, comedy shows, pub, whisky bar, night boat ride, night bus tour, evening walk along the Thames, etc.). Feel free to add your own suggestion.
Wendy W -dance (contemporary, classical), pub, evening walk along the Thames
Margaret H: live music, pubs, walks, especially along beautiful streets/gardens, or along high fashion boutiques, with excellent window shopping! thanks Margaret
live music, yes!!!!
I’m interested in going to Austentatious on Monday the 28th. It’s improv based on Jane Austen/Regency style theater and looks very fun.
Suzanne H: pubs, music, dance, theater, Shakespeare, gardens, evening walk along the Thames. I love history so am happy to go city exploring in the evenings.
My husband, Mark, and I like live music (classical, Blues, World – not Jazz).
We like theater. “The Lion King” is on while we’re there. That would be great to take in.
Dance performances, any style.
Bobbi and Mari, We would like to go to The Royal Opera House to see Mayerling, a ballet which I think is quite funny, and the building itself is special. Also, Faulty Towers Dining Experience might be amusing. I understand that Sir John Soanes Museum, near Covent Garden is quite unusual. Modern Dance would also be a favourite for us, as would be Kew Gardens.
Thanks Bobbi. The ballet sounds interesting! It is hard to imagine the Faulty Towers Dining experience but it does sound amusing!
Susan MacKeown – dining out, pubs, theatre (thinking of buying tickets to “Inter Alia”), live music and walking anywhere.
Other things my husband, Mark, and I would enjoy could include a boat ride on the Thames, a walk along it, pubs, the Faulty Towers dinner sounds fun. Contemporary dance.
