London Art Tour (April 22-28, 2026)

Day 1  Wednesday,  April 22

Arrival in London -since people are arriving at different times, we are leaving the itinerary open for the afternoon.

Some suggested activities:
-walk around hotel neighbourhood including Bloomsbury

-visit Cecil Court bookstores (approx. 20 minute walk from hotel)

-visit the British Museum (approx. 5 min from hotel)
-visit Kew Gardens (we are unable to fit this in our scheduled itinerary so this might be a good day to go).

Xane and Wendy will be in the lobby of the hotel from 7pm-8:30pm on Wednesday April 22 if you want to stop by and say hello.

Day 2  Thursday, April 23

Tate Modern Bankside

11:00am Tracey Emin lecture
12:00pm Tracey Emin exhibition,
1:00pm lunch in Corner Caféor other eatery in the Tate
2:00pm Tate Modern Permanent collection
(note: the Tate is no longer able to provide catering eg. snacks before lecture and sandwich lunch so we can eat in the cafe beside lecture hall or other eatery at the Tate Modern)

3:00pm Tate Boat from Tate Modern to Tate Britain

10am Guided tour of Permanent collection
